The Training Centre of the Integrated and Sustainable Development Ltd, situated at Quartier Militaire Road, Wooton, Curepipe, was launched by His Excellency, Mr. Marie Cyril Eddy Boissézon,,G.O.S.K, Vice-President of the Republic of Mauritius on Friday 27 th October 2023 in the presence of eminent personalities both various fields.
In their respective address, both the Chairman (Mr. Atmaramsing Seepargauth) and the Manager ( Mr. Pradeep Kumar Singh Jagutpal) of the Integrated and Sustainable Development Ltd referred to the key points of the Vision and Mission statements, namely about commitment to provide holistic training for sustainable career development to young professionals in Mauritius, Africa, and the Indian Ocean and to provide them with the required tools and soft skills to enable them to make positive contributions to the creation of integrated and sustainable enterprises. They also gave an insight about the ETHICAL PRINCIPLES AND VALUES to be observed by the Institution as well as the courses to be offered.
In his address, His Excellency, the Vice President of the Republic of Mauritius, also referred to the Vision and Mission statements of the Institution and welcomed the creation of the Training Centre . While stressing that higher education has always been a top priority for government, he added that this Training Centre has definitely its place in the space of the Education hub with the difference that the soft skills and courses to be offered will certainly gear up the qualities of the head and of the mind and such essential skills as Communication, Team Work, Problem Solving and Adaptability.
Professor Dhanjay Jhurry, G.O.S.K, Managing Director of UNICITI Education Hub also addressed the audience . He commended the concept of sustainability and the promotion of soft skills for a new of life.
The message of Mrs. Pamela Bussier , CEO of Jubilee Allianz General Insurance Mauritius Ltd, was read by Mr. Dominique Rene, the head of HR of the said company.
The plate commemorating the launching of the Training Centre was unveiled by the Vice President of the Republic.
